Forty Hills
"Forty Hills" is a unique landscape in the old township of Carrick found in southern Bruce County. Shaped by glacier activity, it is a feast for the eyes with steep hills and kettles. With a passion for growing our own food, we have established an orchard, large vegetable garden and raise a few animals. Garden tours welcome with Rural Gardens Grey Bruce, and produce as available in season. Brian started Artistic Blacksmithing full time at home in 2018, and Sharilyn ceramics in 2021. We both have a passion for using our hands and creating things. There are great similarities between clay and metal and how they are both formed. Both come from the earth and are transformed with heat! Come visit us to find out more! On site showroom available for viewing by appointment or by chance, or take one of our workshops to try for yourself!
